The Europe Direct information Centre network is one of the European Union’s main tools to inform citizens about the Union and, more specifically, about citizen’s rights, EU priorities and promoting a participatory citizenship at the local and regional levels.
The overall objective is that all citizens have easy access to the information and possibility to communicate and exchange their opinions in all fields of activity of the EU and, more specifically, those that have an impact on people’s everyday lives.
This Centre, specifically, follows and spreads EU related news, distributes printed information published by the European Institutions, broadcasts calls for proposals and assists in partner-seeking for you to make your projects with European financing. We also make a monthly newsletter including current news, calls for project proposals, European legislation and publication, which you can subscribe to. Also, we prepare special newsletters and publications which focus on current European affairs and topics of interest.
If you would like to take part, we organise workshops, presentations and seminars all over Castilla-La Mancha to increase awareness about the European Commission’s priorities and policies with most impact on citizens’ daily lives. Visit the “Activities” tab to see which are close to you.
And, of course, we answer any questions you may have on European Affairs.
¡We bring Europe closer to you!
